Handmade pieces last longest with a little attention. A few simple habits keep them looking their best.
Everyday wear
- Put your jewelry on last — after perfume, lotion and hairspray.
- Take it off for swimming, showering, sport and cleaning.
- Avoid chlorine, salt water and harsh chemicals.
Silver & plated pieces
- Wipe with a soft, dry polishing cloth after wearing.
- Solid cast silver can be polished with a silver cloth; do not use dips or abrasive pastes on plated or patinated pieces.
- For deeper cleaning, use lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap and dry thoroughly.
Copper pieces
- Bare copper naturally darkens and develops a patina over time — part of its charm. A soft polishing cloth brings back the shine.
- Copper can occasionally leave a harmless green mark on the skin; keeping the piece dry helps.
Beadwork
- Don’t pull or twist beaded pieces; hold them by the findings when putting them on.
- Keep them dry and store them flat so the thread keeps its shape.
Storage
Store each piece separately in its Vøid Jewelry pouch or box, in a dry place. An anti-tarnish strip in your jewelry box helps silver stay bright.

Clean with a damp cloth. Not dishwasher safe; keep away from high heat and direct flames.
